It's funny how the mods and devs of this site oppose the ideals of the country they leech upon. Where is freedom of fucking speech? It's freedom that you devs have been given... no blessed with that has allowed you to continue working on your project! How DARE you make such a mockery of our basic rights as citizens, that we can't even question your way of thinking?

I can't join in the Emulator, I play real EQ in addition to the emulator, but lack the necessary disk space to make a back up copy because of school/work related things that take up a majority of the space.

Freedom of speech doesn't exist on the web, hombre. That's a special governmental right to make changes in the United States, where democracy rules. It doesn't exist in global non-governmental internet connections. Hell, it doesn't exist across 75% of the globe. This is not a fundamental right of the internet. I think eqemu comes as close as the devs can let it. Ultimately, Hogie runs the show. What he says goes. He gets a 99% vote because he fields 99% of the expenses.
Do you get freedom of speech at any private institution? Go to the local grocery store and start practicing your freedom of speech. You'll be shopping at the Fud-Mart at the gas station for a few months.
As far as being banned, people who were banned were told multiple times to obey the rules. They chose the alternative.
I don't understand why everyone hates the devs for rules. Rules exist everywhere else, not just eqemu.
