Default Archery?

I have been looking into adding an attack (archery) but realize that I do not know what hex numbers I need to add to the logic in attack.cpp. Where would I find that information? I looked in the mySql database with the admin tool and found that the only mention I could find of the skill (archery) was under the character profiles. It said that my characters skill was 255.

I realize that this is an indication of the amount of skill not the Neccessary data (op?) code. After all I had a 255 in lock picking, channeling, bind wounds, among others. I know that the same code would not refere to them all. Besides it makes more sence for the db to give access to the level of skill.

Is there a list of skill codes or some thing? Where can I go for more information? In what file can I look to find these codes? I realize that I am asking a lot but I am willing to work to find out if someone would point me in the right direction?

Thanks for any replies. Even flames, at this point I feel like a moron so someone else might as well be the one telling me I am.
