I found some more errors.Others must not be using this oterwise they would have them as well.
In the part

Also alot of zones are unavalible.This file came from sourceforge and a few things needed changed otherwise it wouldn't source without errors.
download and extract
THIS to mysql/bin and then source in.
source zonepoints.sql;
It can be sourced last.If I find anything else I'll post it. |

Well I have put the source in for the zonepoints, I get no error messages when I can login to my server, make a character but I can not zone into any zone, they are all unavailable.
This is the only error message I can find

Error: No zoneserver to bootup Halas (29) for Greatman
Received unknown opcode: 0x02eb size:0 bytes

If you followed THIS tutorial step bt step you shouldn't have had any problems to zone.I don't have the map files and I do get a error in my dos window but still I can go to any zone.It would seem your problem would be something else.

I have a question about zonepoint and other database updates - Where exactly do you find these: merchantlist_temp.sql doors_update.sql zonepoints.sql tl.sql tributes.sql
And who updates them?
I've noticed that with following spike's guide, still quite a few doors are broken and zonepoints do not always send you to the right place. I've fixed a few of them myself by using a trial-and-error process, but it's quite time consuming  And I still haven't figured out how to make the paineel door open.. |

ohhhhh rhonda.... we didnt have this problem before... its not because of ur databases now is it.....
Anyways if you follow the tutorial bit by bit, it says where to download them at.

I know where to download them - I'm just saying they're not complete or have errors. Who made them? Does anyone do updates to them?

When sourcing them you should see none/1 or 2 no more than errors.

I don't get errors when sourcing them, there are problems with the database data. The main thing wrong is that many zone points are incorrect.
So again, who made these and does anyone do updates to them? I'm basically asking - where/how can I find database updates?

problems connecting
I followed the steps minilogin starts states servermode is standalone won't go to miniserver, world loads and boot5 loads up but eq says so connection avail. i have tried 127.0.0.1 and 169.254.216.196 also ports 9000 which the server said it was listening and 5999 like the tutorial said. any help?

ok i got it to connect i had to use the minilogin config for the world config too but now it asks to patch the expansion i saw on one of these pages not to update that it breaks eqemu i can't get past the choose which server to play do i need to go ahead and let it patch? thanx John
