new char prob... Bug?
I just found out about EQEmu, and did a lot of reading before trying anything out. I saw the DO NOT PATCH message, but also saw the new post on the main page stating that the Grand Creation server was beta for the new patches. A recent wipe and load required that I reload EQ from my original discs. I allowed the live patcher to update ALL expansions. I followed the directions for changing the hosts file and adding the patchme argument to the eqgame shortcut.
Logged in, selected The Grand Creation and created a new toon. (Druid, starting city Kelethin) Everything appeared to be going great, until I actually entered the world. It appears that my toon falls and gets whacked for 50-75 non melee damage, and then Pain and suffering hits me for about 32000 damage. "You have died, returning to home point." Then the whole thing starts over. I have to end task to get out of the game.
I assume this is a bug, but I am not sure if this is the proper place to post it.
If I did something incorrectly, please let me know. If not, then I hope this is a detailed enough bug report.
