Sorry..You missed the boat!
You to have patched before 5/11/2005 in order for EMU to work.
Save what you have so far and keep coming back to this sight and reading posts. When the EMU becomes compatible(with live) again, most likely you will read about it first before the red Do Not Patch sign is removed.
Then try to play and if you have everything right it will work for ya.
No one knows when this will be so the best is to keep reading the forums.
