Default EQ Installation/Moving

Hey again all.

Just curious. I want to move a copy of my EQ folder for ex. e:\everquest and all it's contents to another computer. Every time I do this I get an EQGame.Exe crash.

I installed EQ on laptop C:\EVERQUEST

I Renamed the C:\EVERQUEST to C:\EVERQUEST.BCK

I copied my working version from desktop computer E:\EVERQUEST over network to C:\EVERQUEST.

Everytime I run it, EQGAME.EXE crashes. Any help on moving an EQ directory to another / computer pls...

Not sure why your getting an error , you should be able to rename and move your everquest folder all over with no problems.

Well what I did was some editing with the file [eqhardware.ini] I belive. Something to do with the Video Card and Sound Card drivers.
