Question MySQL-Front Question

When using MySQL-Front I understand you can modify values to edit or create items as well as edit other things. My question is how to get these changed values to take effect because when I enter them , they stay changed in the program, but in game when I reload server they dont change. Everything is still default. Any ideas? It is the same db eq that it is my Mysql folder.

Yea , it did work when I edited what zone my character was in but when I edited a piece of armor's value for wisdom and ac that didnt work for some reason. The item in game is still how it is default. Any ideas why this may be?
I went back and checked and the item is still altered but it doesnt change in game.

Default Re-serialize Items

You can make the changes to your items but you have to reserialize them after you make the changes and save them.

http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19404

This thread explains how to do so using serialize_items.pl

That is how I make my changes to my items and it works great.

You can go to the files download section @

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=88515

Get the 6.2 source and there should be a folder in there for utils or something like that where the serialize_items file is at.

That shoud get your items to look the way they should.
