Hmm, my initial guess is "Yes, you should be able to get to server select screen" but then again, when it comes to the Emu, I have seen very odd things happen for no apparent reason at all.... so I dunno if your problem is Emu related, DX9 related, etc. As a cheap cop out though, I would blame the Emu.
