Default GUI XML file error?
Anyone have suggestions of what to do if "Error in your GUI XML files" window pops up right after i try to log in?

EDIT-----I patched to live, and put the essential 5/11 files back and now i have a world that works, except everything is invisible but names, but everything else works

Re-copy the UI XML files from live? After the recent patch they pushed the new UI to the live servers so you need to copy the default_old folder and rename it default in your EQEMU folder.
