Thats explain many things :( We are sure to be Outlaw :p

Heck why be an outlaw when you can be a in-law . Theres no way they going to get all of us. I think once you try to become big. SOE will try and crush you.

So is this anti-emulation rule a new rule? Or is this a long-standing rule that has been discussed before? I thought the only actual rule we were breaking with EQEmu was the changing of the eqhost.txt file... and for that your account can be banned, but I thought I had heard that the emulator itself was never expressly forbidden... now it seems to be. Still doesn't matter if they wanna take my live account away...

Rules of Conduct

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE BASIC RULES OF CONDUCT THAT GOVERN PLAYER INTERACTION AND ACTIVITY WITHIN EVERQUEST AND IN THE OFFICIAL EVERQUEST FORUMS. FAILURE TO ACT RESPONSIBLY AND COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WITHIN EVERQUEST AND THE OFFICIAL EVERQUEST FORUMS MAY RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY REFUND OF ANY KIND.

In other words if you are caught they can only terminate your account. Oh noz!!

Well. We know they dislike it, otherwise WR or S2K (original) would be up. Because they are kicking and screaming doesn't make it law. (Although, it wouldn't take actual law to get our project frozen for a while). I think they're aware that if they did anything to EQEMu we'd just move the project host outside of the United States and continue.

C++ is wonderful.
