Disregard above post, I believe this is the way my "eqemu_config.xml" is supposed to look, can someone please confirm this. Because even after i've done the MySQL step of the 0.7 tutorial, I still can't get "world.exe" and "eqlauncher" to fully load, most upsetting.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0">
<server>
        <world>
                <shortname>minilogin</shortname>
                <longname>My Minilogin</longname>

                <!-- Only specify these two if you really think you need to. -->
		<address>127.0.0.1</address>
		<localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress>

		<!-- Loginserver information.  -->
        <loginserver>
		<host>127.0.0.1</host>
		<port>5999</port>
		<account></account>
		<password></password>
        </loginserver>

                <!-- Sets the shared key used by zone/launcher to connect to world -->
                <key>some long random string</key>

                <!-- Enable and set the port for the HTTP service. -->
                <http port="9080" enabled="true" mimefile="mime.types" />
        </world>

                <!-- Database configuration, replaces db.ini. -->
        <database>
                <host>localhost</host>
                <port>3306</port>
                <username>eq</username>
                <password>eq</password>
                <db>peq</db>
        </database>
</server>

On this part, am I supposed to enter this in exactly like it is written? And am I supposed to do this step, as well as the one I have to do with MySQLCC afterwards?

Finishing Touches
Now it's time to finish up the installation. You just have to run a few sql commands and you will be ready to roll. If you used the PEQ databases, Click on "Start" then "Run" and type in "C:\mysql\bin\mysql -u root peq". Now type in " GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON peq.* TO eq@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'eq' WITH GRANT OPTION; " If you used cavedude's database, replace "peq" with "eq".
And after this step, I only get a message that says, "Query OK, 0 rows effected" is it supposed to say that?

Default Crud

So far, i've done this tutorial 3 times, and it's always the same result, I can't seem to log on to my server because it always says "locked" on it. :(

As you stated above have you entered the commands properly?

Click "Start" then "run" then type:
Code:
C:\mysql\bin\mysql -u root peq
after that type:
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON peq.* TO eq@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'eq' WITH GRANT OPTION;
You should not need to add the 'mini'/'mini' user/password if you used Cavedude's installer as it does it for you.

But after I do that, it just says "Query OK, 0 rows affected" or something like that. Is it supposed to say that?
