I am fairly new to EQEmu. I had played around with it when EthernalQuest was one of the emulators, before the days of Luclin and the new Graphics.
I just recently setup the 7.0 server with the Titanium edition of EQ Client. First try.. worked like a charm.
I am using the MiniLogin setup just for my LAN and a few friends.
Running both the Linux and the Windows versions.. the Windows one seems to run a little better.
Okay. I am not one from "The Beginning". Just jumped on board and thought I would say that it is good to see some REAL development going on.. I figure us "Players" and "Developers" can fix many of the bugs and errors in the game that SOE either refuses to or considers un-important.
So many quests and other bugs that they left alone and just threw more expansions to hopefully get people to forget them..
Im not nearly from the beginning but Im still around although my server is down right now. I plan to get back into EQemu again later. Been making some major headway learning to program with Delphi. Dont have much time for anything else right now. The more you know the more you realize you dont!
I've been here on and off since almost the begining. I think I'm on my 3rd account now - I go away for a year or more, and can't remember what my login was when I come back.
