Default The Sky in some zones is always black.

I can't search for sky since it's to small a word for the search.

Is there a way to correct the sky in the zones that just show a black sky for example The Plane of Knowledge, The Plane of Tranquility, and so on?
Is it a database entry or hard coded into the server?

Oh one other thing I noticed in Gunthak the water/ocean seems to have areas that have sank and areas that have risen above "sea level" what would cause that?

Thank you for your time,
Rob

in your database:

under zone,
there is a field called sky.
This set to 0 = no sky at all. change it to 1 for normal lighting.

Hope that was what you were looking for.

In game, you can use zsky # to set the sky from 0-5 (I believe). See the WIKI for zsky params and what they do. Once you do that, you can use #zsave [zone short name] to save any changes you make to the zone headers. Then your zone should have the new sky when you pop back in.

(i have had some inconsistent results with this, but for the most part, it works ok).

Well that's better than just a black sky all the time but I think only 0 or 1 work as 1-5 all looked the same.

But either way both the zsky and sky ideas worked.

Thanks guys,
Rob

Skies 2-5 have something to do with fluff, and direction the clouds move, I believe.
