Default Crashing and Lag problems.

Ok. I finally got the Emu working earlier (yay!) and set up my DB and everything, followed the readme info etc and it all loaded upto the loginserver ok, but sometimes when I make a char and log into a zone EQW will minimize and the server select will pop up, but on occasions it will let me in but will keep LDing me, but sometimes it doesn't and I get no lag at all. People told me about the datarate thing, but it doesn't seem to have any effect, what should it be at on 512kps cable?

Kinda weird, yes. :( But here are my configs.

[Database]
host=localhost
user=blahblahblah
password=blahblahblah
database=eq

[LoginServer]
loginserver=eqlogin1.eqemu.net
loginserver2=eqlogin2.eqemu.net
loginport=5999
loginport2=5999
worldname=Xero's [Commands Enabled!]
locked=false
account=
password=
worldaddress=62.254.90.149

[LoginConfig]
ServerMode=Standalone
ServerPort=5999
UplinkAddress=
UplinkPort=
UplinkAccount=
UplinkPassword=

REM:--------------Start-----------------------

@echo off
start zone9x . 62.254.90.149 7995 127.0.0.1
start zone9x . 62.254.90.149 7996 127.0.0.1
start zone9x . 62.254.90.149 7997 127.0.0.1
start zone9x . 62.254.90.149 7998 127.0.0.1
start zone9x . 62.254.90.149 7999 127.0.0.1
exit
cls

REM:---------------END------------------------

My comp is a 1.4 GHZ AMD Athlon with 128 DDR RAM, SiS 32mb (I think) video card, 512kps Broadband internet connection and I last patched before the Wednesday patch (Monday I think) you know, the one which screwed emu again. :p

If anyone can help please reply or email me xeroemu@hotmail.com -thanks

I don't see anything wrong in those config files. But to be on the safe side, try taking out the [ and ] in your server name and see if that affects it.

Here are some suggestions to try. Load up a blank DB and see if you have the same problems. Also try getting minilogin running and see what happens. Perhaps you will narrow down where the problem lies, or discover something small that was overlooked.
