Default Db says loot tables are fine. But they're not..

For example, I've killed the fabled emporer crush. According to my lootdrop/_entries tables, he should have a 100% chance of dropping the fabled screaming mace. No other items are listed.

Every single time I've killed him I have received Burnyai Hide Shoulder Pads (#272. This seemed a bit odd to me, considering that it wasn't in his loot table. I shrugged and moved on.

Days later, I killed the fabled ambassador dvinn. And received (the name is momentarily escaping me) a piece of loot that definately didn't belong on him. Something like a +10 all stats, +7 all resists, +65 hp earring. Looked it up on allakhazam... and turns out that's loot from sleepers.

So, I checked the Db again. He's supposed to have a 100% chance of dropping the fabled dragoon dirk. Yet, 2 for 3 kills... I received an item that's not even in his loot table.

Wtf?

After hacking my PEQ database to bits getting the latest updates (forgot about them heh), I have bad news, Whupp... I killed both the crush and his blue roommate, and got what I expected to drop. I even did a #npcloot show before attacking to make sure their loot tables were correct.

I think there's something jacked up in your data. Maybe try a re sourcing of the PEQ release database? Or, if you're using someone elses, let us know which.

Good luck.

Ah, yes.. I am using the PEQ-luclin db. Sorry for not mentioning that... I really should refrain from posting when I'm half asleep =P

I expect there is something considerably jacked up, though I've not made any remotely significant changes to the data.. so I can't imagine what.

Glad to know it's likely an issue on my end alone, rather than a widespread one. I'll give resourcing it a try.

Thanks for replying
