Support::General SupportPost all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.
I've had no issues getting past login lately, and I haven't heard any complaints from players on PEQ either. Check any firewalls or IP blocking software (PeerGuardian) on your side. Also, make sure you have no whitespace in your eqhost.txt file.
I have been able to get on pretty easily. I have however seen a couple of gliches. the names sometiems show up with odd characters and there may be several servers with no names and populations of over 1000. But the servers that I know are really up are available to log in and play on.
When I saw this I checked my host file to see what the entry was. I thought maybe the :5554 or :5557 address was accidentally being referenced for some of the older servers, but this was not the case.
one day i was having issues getting into the server list and on PEQ server , but i think it was my internet being crappy. like it would boot back to log in or say patch downtime.
