Are you using an AMD machine Veridis? They have issues on windows XP using AMD Dual Cores... causes EQ, among other things, to go rediculously fast and do some wierd stuff... If you have an AMD Dual Core on Windows XP, do a google search as suggested here : http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/sho...ight=Duel+Core

And download the hotfix and/or AMD patch... Should fix your problems, solved mine anyways.

I'm currently running an Intel T2500 core duo processor. So, I don't think that the AMD issues would effect me. I tried deleting the eqclient.ini, but that didn't seem to work out. I now noticed that the game is quite jerky like Damilis described it. I'm going to try searching the EQ forums to see if there's similar post to my issue and updating my graphics card drivers. Oh yeah, I'm simply running a client and not my own server if that is of any relevence. Thanks for the help though.

Did you check out the bottom of the eqclient.ini or just delete it? If the latter, then just check the very end of that file to see if all 3 resolutions are the same. If not, set them all to the same. That worked for me.

Yeah, I did both. I started looking into the dual core issue and found the windows hotfix. Luckily that seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for the help!
