I'm wanting to remove he death touch, and Vox/Naggy's/Trak banish and simliar stuff like that. Are they part of the spells, or what is the best way to edit them?

there is a special attacks field in the database (edit:in the npc_types table) that has a string of letters. Each letter corresponds to a special ability of the mob. There is a page somewhere in the wiki that tells what each ability is.

I saw that list, just didn't see deathtouch or banish. Maybe it isn't listed yet, I'll be by my server later today.

Banish (at least for Naggy and Vox) is controlled by a quest file. Delete the .pl files for them in their respective zones to get rid of that.
As for deathtouch, it's in the spellset for each mob that has it. To remove, you'd either need to edit their specific spellset or remove their spell-using abilities entirely.

AFAICT, death touch isnt implemented in PEQ. i did a sample run though airplane and when fighting various mobs who are supposed to have "Cazic Touch" (aka death touch) they never decided to cast it on me. the Spiroc Lord, though cast his heavy DD many times, so thats working. not sure if other mobs in other zones are similarly missing their death touch. more experimentation forthcoming.

If you don't mind, could you list the mobs you found that don't DT but should over at the ProjectEQ forums? http://www.projecteq.net/phpBB2
Airplane doesn't even work properly so I know that needs attending. But any information is welcome and appreciated

I know Fright, Terror, Dread, in Fear should DT. We always sent a Ranger in to "scope it out". Once he was dropped like a rock, we'd engage... usually giggling til we wiped.

Actually I'm pretty sure only 2 of the 3 DT, I forget which one doesn't though.

Ahh you are right. Terror was the mini, Fright and Dread were the minions.
Regardless, killing Rangers is always a great sport.
