Default quests fixed; still have gravity / movement issues

i saw the same piece of advice in a few places, and go figure, it worked for me too...

i have a C:\EQemu directory

within it, i have a C:\EQemu\EQ emulator 0.7.0-whatever

now -- within BOTH directories there is a \quest or \quests directory

it turns out the root directory had that folder full of quests and the sub directory had a folder that was EMPTY

so i copied C:\EQemu\quests (well, the contents of it) into C:\EQemu\EQ emulator version blah blah\quest (or \quests, sorry, forgot, but just use what the installer makes you have)

that made me able to hail NPCs, run through their quests and scripts, and i was very happy

///

i am *still* unable to figure out the lack-of-gravity issue, the fact that i can't move unless i adjust my #size to let my feet reach the ground (and if i walk over a decline, i don't walk down it, i continue walking straight in mid air, like i'm wile e. coyote)

i've tried #flymode off and i am using the two spells files in C:\EQemu that i copied from C:\Sony\Everquest Titanium

i'm really really stumped on that =/

///

also, when i use #zone, it oftentimes drops me in a spot that falls under the world, and then moves me to a safespot, and that's not really safe so i usually get looped into constantly being moved into a safespot...how do i edit safespots?

///

other stuff i'm working on (so you don't need to scroll up):

-setting rez timer for corpses
-trying to learn more tools for making sexy, dynamic encounters
-winning over pretty girl when not engrossed in trying to get my server running =/

oh and yes, i'm using the most recent PERL and MySQL too
