Default Can't keep two clients running.

Hey guys, I am unable to dual box recently for an unknown reason. A week ago, I was able to run two and three clients at a time, but now, every time I try to load two instances of eqgame.exe, one will always crash. I did a fresh reinstall, wiped all my old files, but the game continues to allow only one instance. Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

I had this problem also. Dealt with it for almost 2 weeks without being able to find help. Managed to fix it and maybee this will work for you too.

What i did was a i made a seperate install for each client i was going to run, to avoid me getting confused i just named the icons according to the character. Monk, Shaman, Enchanter.

Then i downloaded and run eqplaynice.

eqplaynice also stopped the constant loss of connection i was having. Hope this works for you also, i know i struggled for weeks without being able to find help.

Make sure you turn off all sound in all EQ windows you run. Also, make sure you are trying to play characters that are on seperate accounts. If you play characters on the same account from 2 instances of EQ, it has a much higher chance of crashing the other account when you try to log the second one in.
