Default Immediate LD...Help plz

I've read thru the entire Win32 threads and found nothing on this but forgive me if I've missed previous posts about this.

My problem is, I immediately and constantly go LD when I sucessfully log into the world on a character. I have read thru the readme about 40 times and everything else works great. Everytime I log into the city the ping stats going up right away and I am disconnected in about 30 seconds or less. I've been trying in Rivervale, start running around but that doesn't last long.

System Specs:
56k, winXP, 1.8ghz 256mb ram, geforce 2 agp...

the basics i guess...only errors i found that are consistent with going LD is that table eq.eqmessages doesn't exist i the sql database but i wouldn't know what that means

Could someone please shed some light on this? Thanks for your time.

Fix the eq.messages error. There were several posts about it, including the 3.4 release post in the news forum. Then see what happens. If you still have problems, post the screens from world and zonent as well as minilogin if your running it. Also post your config files.

Ok got the table sturucture for the EQmessages table, its attached to this post, D/L it and source it into your DB, should fix some of the problems, if the table is infact causing them.

Default Im not sure if that is the problem....

I sourced that dbl you just posted and it did in fact get rid of the eqmessages error. (thank you for posting it)
But still when I log in I can only walk around for about 30 seconds seconed before the bar in the bottom right(network status indicator) drops until I am disconnected. The world.exe spews a bunch of
unknown opcode errors. Are you seeing the same thing morpheus014?

OK there is a txt file called datarate.txt in your everquest directory, set it higer to improve your lathency and such, but 10.0 may flood the emu if u arnt on localhost or a cable connection which will lag u out (heh goin to fast makes you lag i dont get it) that should improve some of the lag issues u are having =)
