Default Login Server Problems

Well, a big big storm system has rolled into the Grand Prairie (Yes, THE Grand Prairie of Texas), and I took a big hit... As I type this, a 2nd wave is about to hit, and my super duper extremely large UPS batteries have died. It was getting time to replace them anyway, but I have moved the login1 server & database to a small UPS to hopefully keep them from taking a nose dive if the power blinks again.

Hey Hogie, did ya know you could mix grape and cranberry juice and get the Granprerry drink? Cool huh!

Some schools of thought call it the crappe drink though. I wonder if this is a parallel to Grand Prairie in some abstract unintelligent way.

Yo Baltar, welcome to Texas country =), power-outtages happen a lot during storms. At least in 'dis here yonder piece uh Texas.

In fact, notice how he even has backup batteries for that sorta thing =).

Got a good question for you Hogie. Why is it that Texas gets all the rain and storms and stuff, but by the time it gets to my neck of the woods (Shreveport, LA), the storm has fizzled. Happens EVERY time.

Grand Prarie is a hole, as is the rest of the Dallas Fort Worth metorplex. With any luck the rains will continue and we'll all be washed down to San Antonio where our bodie will bloat up and get snagged on a tree branch outside the Alamo like some surrealist vision of the Great Flood as filmed by John Ford.

I hate living here. :( lol. Then again, I live in a little pissant town here, and I'm used to the big city life of Vegas. blah. And that storm didn't hit me for crap! lol. We never get any good ones. :( They all go around me to Austin or to Waco or well, once Dallass. Anyway, GET SOME PROTECTION! ;p I learned that the first week I moved here. ;p
