Default Guildwars

So, once upon a time, several years ago, there was a massively popular server dubbed guildwars. It had an interesting following and it was a heck of a lot of fun to play on.

I'm wondering, if a server like that were to come up yet again, how many of you would be interested in playing?

Well, if it came back, it would be under a different name, as the original idea was someone elses.

Here is the general idea I had for the server, opinions would be wonderful.

-Players are in guilds that are at war with one another. (Naturally)
-These guilds can capture cities, which will have a variety of benefits
-All top end gear will have to be crafted, and crafting materials will come from three places. 1) High leveled zones. 2) Rewards for holding cities for a certain amount of time, 3) Rewards for killing players
-All items will be stripped of their nodrop status, and instead switched to the attunable system, to promote a dynamic market.
-There will be no tradeskill grind. Each character, at the max level, will be able to specify which tradeskill they wish to become good at, and they will instantly become a master at it, since the point isn't really to grind, but to have to collect the materials to make the equipment.
-At the beginning, only the original EQ maps will be used, to keep players in closer confines. Some zones will be reworked so that players can progress up to 60. (Maybe 65, haven't decided yet.)

I believe the correct saying is "Don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out."
