Your account has you listed as "user awaiting email confirmation", which means that you did not confirm your hotmail email account by clicking the link in the email that should have been sent to your account when it was created. Maybe it went to your trash/spam folder or something and you missed it. Try checking there and see if you can find the email and complete registration. Once registration has been completed by confirming your email, your other issues should be resolvable on your own.
