Default Do warriors hit?

The topic sums it up. Do warriors hit? The only damage I do with my warrior is kicking damage. I have never hit a mob, or anyone for that matter, with my warrior. Anyone have any ideas? Is this a bug?

Thanks in advance.

Default punching damage

I've been having the same problem with 2.1 and above (with punching) In 2.0 though you can make a human warrior and punch just fine. I'm guessing something in the combat code was changed or left out between to 2.0 and 2.1-2

Thanks for the info, Baltar. I think I will go back to my monk til the issues are over with combat. I heard image saying that dual wielding somehow got left out of this version and will be back in the next.

actually it's the default skill i found out. In 2.1 and above, human warriors are given 0 for hand to hand skill. This is obviously temporary data. If you modify it to one for now, warriors should hit normally. I think further down the road they should do a skills table in the db to facillitate custom races. Or you could hard code certain races with more accurate ratings.
