I tried just 5 minutes ago, needs to be higher still. Alot higher. 10x what it is currently.
That way people can get to 50, start collecting gear and having some pvp fun

you would need to A) increase xp as mentioned before, and B) advertise to get a good following, but honestly with QvF incoming soon as a hold over until Red99 gets rolling I don't know if a full classic rallos style will see a lot of play right now.

The server appears to have 'some' players.
Ive been watching the Rallos Zek server, if the exp rate is upped to a decent amount, I think it may attract some people.

I'll increase xp rate some more.
Unfortunatly the database I started with, PEQ, is not very classic and there doesn't seem to be many options available. I wish I could get my hands on a classic db.

Which PEQ release are you using? Also, have you looked into AXclassic? |

Looked at AXclassic first thinking "it sounds classic".. it is so far from classic that i had to try PEQ right after logging in. Havent been able to find anything more classic since PEQ, or anything at all for that matter. I'm running the latest, peqdb_rev1751, sourced in all the updates since.

Server is starting to pick up! Well done Bamzal.
Just FYI, due to the code you're using, unguilded players cant use skills like Bash/Kick etc against other unguilded players.

That's not due to the code, that's due to the rules in the client that check player versus player combat. It won't send the skill packets if they are not within 5 levels. (that's with the default rallos ruleset)
You'd need to change the pvp flag setting to something like 2 or 4 (4 preferrably) to allow for that to happen. (VZ/TZ ruleset, or SZ ruleset is 4)
That also requires latest SVN though, I don't know how adept this guy is in compiling :P |

Last I saw, he said he was restarting server at about 1 am pst. I called it a night, so I'm assuming he didn't just turn it back on.
