YAY i figured out how to use it... BUT now it keeps saying that zone is unavailable.. and it says my server is locked??? pweese help

*EDIT* Also when i type in world.exe flag (my account name) 200 it says bad command or file name??? *EDIT*

you have to keep trying, if you get connected to eqlogin2 instead of 1 you wont see ANY listings, you have to keep trying till you see a server list (till you get connected to eqlogin1)

or just remove eqlogin2 from the eqhost.txt file in your EQ directory

start -> run -> type : command -> msdos thingy -> cd c:\eqemu -> which brings me to ... C:\\EQEmu .. then i type world.exe flag (my account name) 200

It says bad command or file name...

Do you see world.exe in that directory? If not , thats your problem...

you have to go into the file itself and creat a file name it eq or something... hehe

OK I FINALLY ALMOST GOT IT WORKING!!!

new problems

1.) alot of right click things were (fizzleing), insta cast would take two seconds around, alot of the effects did not work (ex Shield of Auras rune effect did absolutelyl nothing but take up a buff slot)

2.) I didnt get to play my server... it said it was locked???? how do i unlock my server?

3.) my pet kept going invis for no reason and would not attack the mobs, and the mobs kept going invis and beat me up while i coudlnt do anything.... i did 5k and hp bar didnt move ( on a crystal spider thing in Velks )..

hehe some more other things... but those are the ones i can think off the top of my mind.

OHH and a huge one..

4.) i ate food and water every second .. i couldnt keep up with getting food ... i ate it faster then i could..

5.) my aa wouldnt work, i could only place them in certain spots.. i couldnt get most of the aa i wanted... it just wouldnt click in (even though i had the points) ... also somethings ilke the elemental forms , MGB etc would not work... i hit the hot key and nothing happens.. i wouldnt turn into the form etc.... Also i had around 200 aa points ( could only use around 70 ish ) but i couldnt even become baron ( had like 9 in general , ilke 40 in arch and the rest in class)

also it doesnt save alot (or ever?)... i stayed on 30 mins and loged off.. loged back on and everything i had was gone.... i wasnt even lvl 60 anymore... hehe

AA isn't broken, because its not in yet.. the food/water the client is gay about drinking/eatting, but since it doesn't effect anything we haven't bothered to fix it.. you probably also have the wrong spells_en.txt

should i just copy and re-paste my spells_en.txt over my other one???

*also* do you know why my server is "locked" but i seem to be able to enter the server.... but when i make my char it says that zone is down... on every zone.......

Did you remember to run the boot5zones.bat file? you probally dont have any zones online, because you probally didnt read the readme file to see that you have to edit that file, and then RUN it :P or maybe you did read the readme, and just skipped the part about running the boot5zones.bat file, or editing it to me it work on your computer?
