May i get some help..=)

Hello,

Well i downloaded the 3.10 version of this emu and when i set everything up according to the set up readme file thing..it says that i need to get a item database.. where do i get one of those or what do i need..i thought it was suppose to have one? oh well, plz help me out...also my Mysql would not right click and say create database..so i went into the Mysql.exe and did what it said in the db.sql file..was i suppose to type that crap load of stuff or just the little bit it said? lol well plz get back with me..thx.

Oh yea..i have windows XP proffesional if that helps with any of this..

if you had read the README you wouldnt be asking this, but I'll see if I can answer so as not to talk down to you, I to am using win XP Pro, first of all, you have to have MYSql installed, and running, then you create a DB called "Eq" or something you can easly remember, since you'll have alot of areas asking for this... now under the slim chance you already did this, you have to go and EDIT the db.ini file so that it points to the DB you made, and has the username and password for your db in it, so that it can make changes if it has to, not real hard, but easly over looked

if u read my other post u would have notice i got it to a certain point..i'm stuck at the server selecting screen..i press enter world and it starts to boot then it says i need to re-run the patch .and i did that and then it says its a temporay thing ..but i dont know how long it is a temp..

You have to run a command prompt, type cd C:\The Location of world.exe, then type world.exe flag Youraccount 200 In order to get into your server

The best way I have found to add the accounts is to download eqadmin and add them in the accounts field...
I was hung where you were at one time and that is what I did...

hey pyro087 can u email me or do u have any instant message things so i can ask some questions..where do i go for the command prompt thing? and the world.exe is that my eq game or the emu world thing.. ty for your time..
