Personally i would just make your Forum name the same username as you login to the game with. Like my forum name is Liquest so if my login one. (no not giving password)
and the passwords for both are the same just makes it simple. If you box just add a number to the end liquest, liquest2, liquest3...ect
But there is no was to link it to this account you made here. If you are worried about loosing your characters take it up with the server owners to see if you can get the chars transferred over to the new account. With proof that they are yours that is.
