This is important for older players who felt donator potions were a bit unfair. Now all players have access to a version of a donator potion which are a bit weaker but still extremely helpful. I want you all to know that the tier 8 donators have also added special legend items that ALL players can purchase for millions of plat. This not only is fair to everybody but gives players a huge plat dump which was very much needed. Unrest will be receiving some changes in the upcoming days and 1.0 will be heavily worked on as well. I invite everybody over to have some fun. Enjoy.

Added potions of rejuvenation to Xaxrasha in the Guild Lobby. These potions have 5
charges on them and act as weaker versions of the donator potions.

VARLYNDRIA MAJOR UPDATE - 07/10/12

Tier 8 Donators Executioner, Tony Jaa, Elimentz, Biggy and Germatron have had their
custom items added to the game and there is now a merchant in guild lobby that will
allow all rich players to buy these wonderful legendary items for a very hefty price of
platinum. Become a Tier 8 donator yourself and you get a 50% discount from this npc
on buying other Tier 8 legendaries as well as get to have your own in the game forever.

Poisoner rogues have had their poison proc and grenade damage increased by 450%.
This will get the path up there with others who have their spell damage buff on.

Battlepriests have been revamped. The path now increases all melee, kicking etc damage of their
entire group by 15% per level as well as grant them the ability to proc an enhanced scaling
wrath for a limited time. This damage applies to bots, pets and anything else.
This effect can stack with other 5% or 10% damage bonuses. On top of this Battle Priests
also increase their 2 hand blunt damage by 17 per caster level and increase their chance to hit
by 50.

NOTE: This only effects BASE damage which means it ignores any +Bash/Kick type mods.

Boots of Kicking Gloom now have a chain armor graphic instead of nothing.

Due to having new hardware for Varlyndria: Brigands, Earthguards, Ghostcallers,
Dune Raisers and Time Weavers can now summon their pets on all enemies in a
30 foot radius away from a target and these pets now last for 2 minutes. This
will allow these paths to have their very own personal army to fight anything
in the game with and will make them the ultimate solo paths as originally
intended. Since the temporary pets can constantly stack up now they will also
do tremendous dps over a course of 2 minutes. Easily putting these paths
ahead of most when brought to their full power.

NOTE: These pets will steal experience if you let them fully kill enemies
by themselves without interfering. It's best to use them with some AOE
or learn how to damage enemies with your bots/group. This is so players
can't go and spam their personal army on everything and wrack exp with
no effort. With great power like this comes great responsibility as well.

Timeweavers can now spawn their pets regardless of the target's resistance
check. This allows them to get their pets out even if their spell triggered
nuke within the Chaotic Rift is resisted.

All pet classes/paths have a new level 1 spell/combat ability called Pet Mastery.
This spell increases your pet's melee/kick/bash damage by 15% for each level you have
obtained and lasts for 3 hours.

This spell is also cast on the commander's pet when it's summoned.

Snipers, Axe Throwers, Star Throwers and Brigands now receive a 3 hour
buff called Ranged Weapon Mastery Rank 1 when they summon their ammo or
thugs using their charm. This ability increases the paths ranged damage
by 30% per level up to +900% extra damage at level 30. The name of these path's
charm abilities have been changed to the following:

AXE THROWER: Axe Throwing Mastery Rank 1
BRIGAND: Brigand's Dirty Tactics Rank 1
SNIPER: Bow Mastery Rank 1
STAR THROWER: Throwing Star Mastery Rank 1

The base damage of the ammo of these paths has been reduced by 70% as these
paths don't fully 100% rely on their ammo anymore, this also allows for
special ammo cases to be found around the world off bosses which can also
enhance these path's damage even more than their charm ammo.

The Spell Damage/ Healing focus +25% hasn't been changed on charms. The reason I had
to add these spells is because the scaling spell damage I had originally planned was not
working as I intended. This will still have the same effect every 5 levels players can get
giddy about a spell/heal increase.


All classes that can cast damage spells now get the following spells.
NOTE: These last for 3 hours.

SPELL POWER 75% - Level 5
SPELL POWER 150% - Level 10
SPELL POWER 225% - Level 15
SPELL POWER 300% - Level 20
SPELL POWER 375% - Level 25
SPELL POWER 450% - Level 30
SPELL POWER 525% - LEVEL 35
SPELL POWER 600% - LEVEL 40
SPELL POWER 675% - LEVEL 45
SPELL POWER 750% - LEVEL 50

All classes that can cast healing spells now get the following spells.
NOTE: These last for 3 hours.

HEALING POWER 10% - Level 5
HEALING POWER 20% - Level 10
HEALING POWER 30% - Level 15
HEALING POWER 40% - Level 20
HEALING POWER 50% - Level 25
HEALING POWER 60% - Level 30
HEALING POWER 70% - Level 35
HEALING POWER 80% - Level 40
HEALING POWER 90% - Level 45
HEALING POWER 100% - Level 50

Wizard's Planar Arcana has been changed to auto crit for its duration and the damage
bonus has been removed.

Distortionist's charm has had its negative resistance removed due to Pet Mastery being
available for Enchanters. Charmed pets in this way can be enhanced greatly so there
had to be a chance for the charm to break to balance it out. Distortionist players should
take caution when fooling around with Pet Mastery, lest they meet their own demise on
a resist.

Slayers, Guardians, Avengers, Stormblades, Tiger Disciples, Dragon Apostles, Carnalists,
Warchanters, Velician Seers, Shapeshifters, and Mindflayers now gain a passive buff
on their charm power which increases their melee damage by 5% per level. This effects
kicks, bashes, flying kicks , dragon punches etc as well as melee damage.

NOTE: This only effects BASE damage which means it ignores any +Bash/Kick type mods.

Bloodthirsters, Executioners, Assassins, and Bladesingers now gain +10%
damage bonus per level while their special charm power is active. This effects
bashes, frenzies, backstabs, etc as well as melee damage.

NOTE: This only effects BASE damage which means it ignores any +Bash/Kick type mods.

Assassin's Killer Instinct now reduces the recharge time of Backstab by 3 seconds while
it's activated.

Cryomancer's Arctic Chill effect now also slows an enemies attack and casting speed by
50%.

Spirit Wardens have lost the spell damage bonus on their charm due to the new Spell Power
spells the Beastlord has gained. They get 50% spell haste instead.

Soulreapers no longer gain spell damage on their Embrace Of Darkness due to the new
Spell Power spell Necromancers have gained. They now gain a 50% chance to critical
strike with their dots and each dot that crits deals 125% additional damage. Instead
of 100%.

The Legendary Donator items created by tier 8 donators have been
greatly revamped in their stats and a new item has been added to
Shannia in the guild lobby. Thanks for the donations, guys! You too
can become a Tier 8 donator and help the server in more ways than
one! Please check out the donations thread on the forums to learn
about Varlyndria's wonderful and fair tier system.

Procs per minute has changed to 8 up from 4. This has greatly enhanced stormblades,
avengers, poisoners and other paths who rely on procs for damage.

Slayers, Guardians, Avengers, Bloodthirsters, Executioners, Assassins,
Stormblades, Dragon Apostles, Tiger Disciples, Soulragers, Carnalists,
Spirit Warden's Pets, Bladesingers, Warchanters, Velician Seers,
Battle Priests, and Mind Flayers have had their melee damage buffed.

The pure melee classes have been buffed more than the proc/caster
style melee paths due to those paths having magic attacks as well.

Warriors, Berserkers and Rogues have gained the ability to use
Desperate Strike at level 1.

Pet Mastery now gives pets 25% more damage per caster level
instead of 15%.

Virulent Savage's Aura Of Filth now does 7x level base tick damage
and their direct damage which wasn't scaling with the new spell power
buffs has been removed.

Terrorizer's Curse Of Crippling Torment deals 14 x level damage now
and the direct damage portion has been removed.

Poisoner's Gas Grenades are the epitome of lethal now and the poisoner
should absolutely avoid hitting themselves, lest they meet their doom.
Anything unfortunate enough to breathe the fumes of these vile canisters
will surely perish. You've been warned.

Bard's Mind Splitting Chord has been drastically increased in damage.
It now does 35 base damage a level up from 6 a level.

Sunbearer's cleansing sun now gets bonuses from the spell power buff.

Battlepriest's now increase the group's base melee damage by 25% a
level and their two hand damage has been increased greatly while
the buff is on.

Commander's pets have had their damage buffed by 80%
Swarmer's pets have had their damage buffed by 100%
Heretic's pets have had their damage buffed by 100%
Arcane Engineer's pets have had their damage buffed by 150%
Abyssalist's pets have had their damage buffed by 175%
Volcanist's pets have had their damage buffed by 175%
Plaguebringer's pets have had their damage buffed by 170%

Guardians now have melee mitigation of level /5 on their Shield
Mastery buff. Their melee and bash damage has also significantly
improved.

Soulrager's now have a base damage bonus to all melee on their Soul
Bond buff.

Spirit Warden's now buff their pet with 25% melee mitigation as
well as improve the warder's damage by 15% a level. Pet Mastery can
stack with this buff.

Soulreapers now deal triple dot damage on critical strikes.

Necromancer's Curse Of Devouring Torment deals more damage now.

Paladin's Holy Smite is now increased by spell power buffs.

Bards no longer have Spell Power or Healing Power buffs. They don't
really get anything useful from them as their songs don't really work
with it.

The damage and healing of some bard songs have been increased.

QUICK WORLD GAME FIX - 07/12/12

The Health of all mobs has been increased to better fit the dps upgrades of all classes.
Level 1-9 mobs have remained unchanged so players without their charms can get some
levels without any hassle before taking on the charm mobs. Please keep in mind all classes
have some way or another of doing good damage at those levels, use your endurance attacks,
pet mastery buffs, level 6 nukes if you have them, spell power bonuses and full bots and
you should be fine regardless of what path you go for or become.

NOTE TO ALL PLAYERS:

I WILL be adding a new merchant that specializes in buffing and gearing
bots in the next update. This merchant will carry charms, buff stones that increase the
bots melee damage, healing and spell power.

I still need to do some testing on all these to make sure everything goes as planned but my
goal is to get bots back in the dps game with the new changes.

Monks now have two new combat abilities at 30 that have replaced
the older rapid jab and serpent strike.

TIGER'S SWIPE: LEVEL 30 - Does 3 dragon punches on target. 3 sec CD, 175 end.
DRAGON KICKS: LEVEL 30 - Does 3 flying kicks on target. 6 sec CD, 350 end.

Bards have regained their Spell Power buff spells. Player's seemed to get
some use from them with weapon procs and it also increases the damage of
the Warchanter's chains of strife.

Bards have also gained a new song at level 30.

INCINERATING CHORD: LEVEL 30 - Does 57 x level fire damage a tick (stringed)
Costs 250 mana.

Warriors, Paladins and Shadowknights now have a new combat ability at level
30.

DEVASTATING SHIELD SLAM: LVL 30 - Massive bash on target. 6 sec CD, 500 end.

Call Of The Hero no longer requires a reagent to use.

Desperate Strike now has a cooldown of 10 seconds but deals 5 times more
damage than it did before. The endurance has been increased to 150.

Axe Throwers and Star Throwers (Berserker/Monk) Now have a new combat ability
at level 30 called Barrage Of Blades. This will deal 3 instant hits with
their equipped throwing weapon + extra damage. 6 second CD 350 endurance.

Berserker's have gained a combat ability called Destructive Rage at level 30.
This attack launches 6 frenzy attacks + extra damage on the target instantly.
12 Second CD 700 end.

Rogues have gained a new combat ability at level 30 called "Life Ending Strike".
This deadly attack raises base backstab damage by 1000%, instantly crits, and
never misses its target.

12 Sec CD 750 end.

Heretics now gain a buff called "Power Of The Pit" on themselves after
they summon their demon. This gives the Heretic improved hit rating,
and enhanced 2 hand blunt damage.

Commanders now gain a buff called "Seasoned veteran" on themselves after
they summon their soldier. This gives the commander improved hit rating,
1 handed slashing and bashing damage.

Arcane Engineers now buff their golem on the same cast of their charm
with Tesla Armor. This buff gives the golem a very powerful damage shield
that zaps enemies and also increases it's armor class and mitigation
greatly.

Swarmer Druids now cast a Venomous Insects DoT with their tier 1 charm which
also spawns their wasp pet if it's not already out. The dot does 14 x level
poison damage and lasts for 2 minutes. 8 Second cast time.

Their charm spell is now called Venomous Insects Rank 1.

NEW PLAYER HELP UPDATE 07/26/12

- Level 20-30 Serpent Spine armor can now be traded and has prices.

- Players can now purchase all of the level 20-30 Serpent Spine armor
on the new vendors in Guild Lobby. These armor sets will get players
and bots where they need to be before tackling kael or getting ldon
sets. Enjoy!

There are well over 12 updates since last time I posted anything. Check them out on the main site and forums. I hope new players to the server enjoy these changes. It's going to be a lot more fun gearing toons now.

UPDATE 08/06/12 - DEFILERS OF NATURE

-DEFILERS OF NATURE-

When druids are kicked out of their order for disobeying the laws of
nature and balance, they are banned from their grove forever. Most if
not all fallen druids lose their powers after this happens, but there
is one clan of fallen druids who still knows how to use their powers
somehow. These druids have recruited fallen rangers and all other ex-
members of nature's order to fight against the druids who cast them out.

Revenge is all this faction seeks now and they will kill or enslave
any who dare stand in their way, including Varlyndria. The ex-druids have
even gone to the extreme of naming themselves the Nature's Chosen, given
the fact they feel nature is keeping them around for some reason after they
defiled its laws.

Several clans of druids and shamans had banded together in the Emerald
Jungle to try and help cleanse the cursed land of its tormented past and
bring new life to the land, but their plans were ruined when the Nature's
Chosen attacked and slaughtered every last one of them. Now, only one member
of those clans remain and she has contacted Varlyndria through her dreams.

Varlyndria has answered, and now the Council wishes to see these defilers
of nature dealt with without mercy. Fair people of Varlyndria, seek out the
Earthweaver Sharlandra in the Emerald Jungle and use her aid to help rid of
the Nature's Chosen!

-GENERAL-

The level cap is now 35!

Sharlandra can craft four types of armor sets for Cloth, Leather, Chain and
Plate users. Talk to her in the Emerald Jungle to find out how you can start
getting geared up.

The Emerald Jungle has been taken over by the Nature's Chosen and several
dangerous enemies now roam the entire zone as well as bosses that can sometimes
spawn in specific locations. All bosses in this zone have place holders and
many items here are NO TRADE. Most bosses drop a rare item as well, so keep
seeing if they are up or kill trash to get them to spawn. This place should
keep players occupied for a long while because the items are not easy to get
like other custom areas. Good luck on drops!

Trash mobs are important to kill for they drop the quest items you need to
get your armor sets and only boss mobs drop the other items needed for the
armor sets.
