Default Re-install Issue

Hey all,

I had to re-install EQ and I'm having a hard time changing the target and start in fields again.

Here are the original fields:

Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe"
Start in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest"

I have tried both in the target box:

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme and
C:\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme

I keep getting the message:

The name... specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest

and

C:\Program Files\Everquest

are two VERY different locations.

Thanks for your help guys.

I am able to get to the log in page now, but it is saying my user name and password are wrong. I know I am putting the right information in. Any idea how to fix this?

I would guess your eqhost.txt file is wrong and you're still trying to log into Sony's login server.
