Default NPC Mounts?

I was wondering if there is a way to make an NPC cast a spell such as Summon Warhorse and it will put him on the Warhorse, $npc->CastSpell doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Much thanks in advance.

Rather rude much? Something you don't know is when not to be sarcastic.

EDIT: Not the first time people have asked: http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/sho...ht=npcs+mounts Nor am I the only one not to know how.

I have never heard of a case on EQEmu of someone figuring out how that is done. It may require a special packet, or even possible a field in the NPC spawn packet to be set to a particular value. If we had a collect from a Live zone where an NPC spawned on a mount, we might be able to figure it out from that. I just haven't seen any examples of a collect with that info in it for an NPC.

Thanks for the answer Trevius, I was just wondering why I couldn't make the player model, a Human, cast the Summon Warhorse spell, but maybe it would require special code to do so.
