Shared_Memory Hangs

I run shared_memory, I see it pop up a window for half a second and disappear.

I can't cancel it out, doesn't look like its doing anything.

But, if I skip and go to world, it does show connecting to the database server and I can ping it.

I see nothing in the logs can't end program/force end or anything on it.

Latest git, vs2010 on xp.

Do you have a folder named 'shared' in you server folder? If you don't it will not run correctly.

I have gotten a little further.

I DO see it connecting to the server, doing its queries.

I also messages now on the screen saying its connected, loading items/spells/etc.

BUT, there is nothing in the shared folder...and just doesn't shut down...almost like its trying to write but cant...or something.

Does it go down too fast for you to get a screenshot of what it's doing?

Think I've found it...getting this new avast version is tight. Put the whole directory in the exclusion list...getting further.

World/Shared_Memory/UCS/Query serve working fine....now zone keeps crashing instantly. (More as it comes)

OK, can't get the zone to stay up. I do have it running with debug. XP SP3, VS 2010, Perl 5.14.2 (Going to try 5.12 after this)

I noticed that at the end of it, its showing the source path??
