Default MySql Problem

Following the Walkthrough as told, did everything needed, Problem came up , Using window 2k sp2. at the point where i am suppose to Right Click and create new Database, that option does not come up, only things i have to choose from is Flush Host, Flush Log's, Flush Table's, Flush Thread's. Downloaded the suggested Version as stated in the Guide. Please any help would be greatful.

i have that exact same problem and its really pissing me off, i tried to Download every mySql they had up there, none of them work for me.

im running winME, 1ghz processor, 512mb ram.
it SHOULD work. and it HAS worked on this computer before wheni hosted a server maybe a month ago. now tho, after downloading it again, no luck

If there is no way to have that option come up, is there any other work around to Create a New database? Ive tried making a sub folder in the Data folder, but that did no good, I was able to log in but the server was Dead empty. so i know there is a problem with linking the database. to the EMU.

easy fix, just go into C:\mysql\data or whereever you put it, and create a folder called eq, then your set

Or you could each search the forums just a bit, and find this answer posted at least 15 times, or read the documentation on mysql...

run mysql.exe
type:
create database eq;

then continue with the readme.

That wasnt hard, was it?
