I had a server running before but deleted it and no re doing it using the windows server setup guide again. However after using CMake and using Visual Studio 12 2013 since I am on a windows 7 and yes I have it installed. When I go to the next step and navigate to EQ/Source/Build there is no EQEmu file only a bunch of subfolders and a CMakeCache file and even under the search does not find any EQEmu file. And no there isn't a Visual Studio Icon anywhere in there. Any help will be appreicated. Not sure what happened this time around but last time worked perfectly.
... I did use CMake .. there is no EQEmu.sln file under Build folder. However I just noticed I used CMake 3 and not CMake 2.8 does that make a difference? Wait under Server/Build? not Source/Build/EQEmu.sln? also I have NO files in my EQEmuServer folder at this step, should there be?
it all depends on where you told cmake to put the build files to ;P usually i take a working copy (seperate from my Git REPO) and use that source for cmake and make a build folder inside of that. then opn cmake gui and point the working source directory for for source it would be C:\EQEmu Working
and for output it would be C:\EQEmu Working\Build
I told CMake to .. make in the EQ/Source/Build file. All the other sub folders made it there no problem everything else is there but still no Visual Studio 12 file of any sort. Even started again from the beginning. I've found my old files though so I'll just boot those up. Thanks for trying to solve this. I followed that guide and got it working before the update back in sept. not sure what happened here.
