Default Cannot start EQGame.exe

I've set up my eqgame.exe patchme thing and when I try to launch it just crashes to desktop.

I'm using patchme on win2k proffesional
I'm on a 800mhz AMD Athlon win 512mb RAM, 52x Cd, 48x writer 32mb geforce2 mx100 with a 56k.

Can somebody please help?
(I can't use the EQW thingy because I don't know what to select in the little boxes)
Sorry for being such a newbie!

c:\program files\everquest\eqgame.exe is what the line should read in eqw, provided you installed your everquest client to the default location.

dont check any little boxes in eqwindows.

just outta curiosity, are you able to run everquest via the eq icon on your desktop to connect to Verant servers, or does that crash too?

If it crashes, you have a client install issue - un/reinstall or something.
