My method will not work for everyone, but I have had positive feedback.

BTW, If you get to character select screen and get booted when trying to enter the world, that is not a server setup problem. More than likely, it is a mysql error or a one problem. Try updating to the most recent version of EQEmu and try loading up different zones. Some zones have such bad errors that you cannot even log into them. Hope this helps.
