Default One account slower to load than another?

Anyone else got one login server account that loads slower than another?
Better yet anyone got any suggestions as to how i can speed the slow one up?

Load times are almost double on one of my accounts (the oldest one) than they are on one of my other ones.

That depends, are you loading up the second account on a second client after loading up the first account?

Ok so I usually load up account A on a seperate install and seperate HDD, then load up account B. Account A significantly slower than account B.

I have tried the reverse order also, same result. I have also tried loading up accounts on opposite installs/drives, same result.

From what I can tell it is something that is specific to account A that is causing it to load /zone slower. I could be completely wrong though, but I'm all outta ideas.

That's quite weird, maybe it's just a placebo. By that I mean maybe you think it's slower, or it just happens to be slower but there is no real issue causing it.

If that second HDD has been unused for a while it's possible it's in power saving mode and needs a moment to spin up. Pretty normal.

Edit: You said it seems to be specific to Account A, regardless of which HDD you use? Hmm. Can you test if it's server-specific? Character-specific?

Yeah it is a genuine issue, it's quite a significant difference in load times. I've noticed it for a looong time now but never really thought to post about it as it was never really an issue. Recently i have started playing on a server that needs a lot of zoning and it's starting to get a bit irritating >_<

@chrsschb: it isnt server specific, I have noticed it across several different emu servers. always the same account that is slower irrespective of which HDD it loads from. I havent checked if it is character specific, so will give that a shot - incidentally account A has typically been where i have made my first character on each server; I wonder if that could have any influence.

Edit: OK gave it a shot and account A still loads slower. Not sure if i mentioned it earlier or not but it also loads slower to the character select screen than account B, which kinda makes me think it is a flag or something on the login server side or something that might be causing it. I'm far too technically inept to try and work these things out, hence I was hoping someone else might have encountered the same problem and found a way to resolve it

Thanks for helping guys.

I'm not asking you to create an 'Account C' .. but, you wouldn't happen to have one?

If 'C' was created later than 'B' and it was slower also...

Yeah I Do Uleat, and it is pretty much the same in terms of load times as account B. ie; much faster than account A. To the point i have considered not using account A at all and just using the other two - except that all my main toons are on account A >_<

Edit: Account A and B were made on March 22, 2014 according to the account services tab here - and C was made June 04, 2014. I would have sworn i made B and C at the same time, which was some time after A but guess I am wrong.

I was gonna throw out there that the faster account may be part of an optimized cache and the slower one may have to be read from the hard drive itself.

I honestly have no idea since I don't have access to the login server..but, it would be interesting to hear if other people are having this problem as well.

Yeah, they'd have to come forth though. I have tons of accounts created anywhere from 2006 to 2014 and I've never experienced this.
