Default Last warning!

Do not patch EQ unless

1) You have a backed up copy of the directory
or
2) you dont want to use EQEmu for a while.

For those of you that dont have the hard drive space to backup the whole directory, you can backup only these files and EQ should work fine with EQEmu (after you copy them back to EQ directory).

NOTE: If you only backup these files and not the entire EQ Directory, you will no longer be able to get technical support for EQEmu. Always backup the ENTIRE EQ directory whenever possible.

eqnews.txt
eqgame.exe
eqgfx_dx8.dll
eqstr_en.txt
spells_en.txt
EQUI_SelectorWnd.xml
EQUI_ShortDurationBuffwnd.xml - NEW
EQUI.xml
EQUI_BugReportwnd.xml
EQUI_Lootwnd.xml
EQUI_Selectorwnd.xml
EQUI_PetInfownd.xml
EQUI_Animations.xml
EQUI_StoryWnd.xml
Window_Pieces04.tga

EQ files will NOT be given out. Anyone found to be asking for, or giving out EQ files could get banned.

SO any ETA on a fix?

Had to uninstall EQ, don't want to patch until there's a fix...

Take a look at http://forums.eqemu.net/viewtopic.php?p=27107 for some simple batch files to automate the partial backup and restore.

Nothing you can do.. you decided to join EQEmu at the worst time in 3 months hehehe.

EQEmu is "between patches" and will not work with current patch until it is fixed.. no eta

No ive seen worse, remember back about a year and a half ago (rough estimate) it took 2 months (yes, REAL months, maybe a little less) for eqemu to be fixed from a eq patch, your in for the long haul now

Well, I patched recently and was able to use the EQEmu servers rather simply last night... it was great. Just check out the IRC channel to find out details.
