Just an update to my search for a lavastorm client map, I had someone help me in a PM with that, (and a couple other missing maps), so I am very grateful to him for that. I've been building up on an old tak db dump from 2014 (for my own personal reasons), but the npc spawns, items, loottables, etc., that came with it, gave me a good head start on the PoP era. Thank you, to those devs that did all that previous work. Even the zone table had no entries past the PoP expansion, let alone the items and loottables.
Got most things functioning properly, (zone points, etc), built around the Titanium client. I won't be able to do much with the source code, as far as the PoP era. I don't have accurate data/formulas for it anyways, but I have it all working with recent code (9136 slightly modified). I'm using a backed up perl quest folder from 2011, which is keeping me busy going through all of them.
I also have a quest folder from a 2006 PEQ Ykesha release, which I am only using for the odd reference. Typing the correct data anywhere is easy. But gathering and aquiring the correct data is a whole new ball game. I'm in no rush.
I'm not doing this for "server" reasons,(there's enough of them out there) it's just my own selfish needs of preserving as much of the PoP era as I can, simply because it's when I climbed on board, and never seemed to have got off, lol
