Let me give a little more context. I've been using Akka's repacked version of the server for about 2 years. In an attempt to try out some server code changes, I cloned the current "Server" git and used it to build new binaries. From what I'm hearing, I guess the current server assets aren't exactly compatible with my 2-year-old DB. I'm kind of confused, though--if eqemu_server.pl contains a DB update script, shouldn't my DB schema already have been updated to the latest version?
I appreciate any help you all can offer. I was hoping to find a way to make changes to the server code without reinstalling the server, but I'm starting to suspect that's what I might have to do.
