SMS Phone Verification

Okay, so i'm one of those folks who's got to reset their play account passwords because frankly, they're very old and i can't remember two of the three of them. so I attempted to reset all three accounts and it sent me an SMS verification code to a phone number. Problem is, I do not have whatever phone number that was long ago and i have a much newer number. But I am unable to figure out how to change that phone number to the new one so i can actually receive the code. There really doesn't seem to be a way to do it.

So if I can't receive a new code via phone, how do i get it sent by email instead? I know which email is tied to my account, but I have no received a code from there either. I haven't seen how to do this in any other threads, but I'm sure people might be curious, in case they run into this particular problem.

Had to deal with the same kind of mess, old number long gone, and no way to update it. Ended up using AnonymSMS just to grab the code and get in. Quick fix that actually worked.

Did you figure this out? I know my passwords, but I don't have the phone number I used to set up SMS so many years ago.

Is there a way to update SMS?

@Kalyper, What exactly did you do with AnonymSMS to fix this?
