k 1st. as a SysOp of guildwars (and the db man) the server isnt down forever. just till we get some things ironed out.
As for no one fooling with legit servers you tell that to the 798 chars that we have registered on Guildwars. Compare that # to the # of chars on a non legit server, please i dare you. they wont even come close. The people have spoken and the Vast majority want legit.
If you want a #summonitem server feel free to download EQEMU and start your own server and let peeps #summonitem. Feel free to download one of the databases and fix it to yer liking.
Dont come here pissing and moaning because you are too lazy to setup a server yerself and do the work to make it good.
As for long way to go to make it legit, i dont think so. With the guildwars server a vast majority of the people leveled up the right way w/o cheating.
