Default A suggestion/idea.

Ok, may sound crazy... but why don't you guys merge with EthernalQuest? I've noticed data they have that you don't have implemented yet, and data you have that they don't have implemented yet... Why not become one big, happy emulator? Just my 2 cp...

P.S. I was searching the forums for EthernalQuest posts, and noticed in Drawde's DB post that there is a converter. I'd like to help out once I become more familiar, because I have a LOT of time on my hands.

I used "the other" emulator once a bit ago. It was no where near the level that EQEmu is at. I'd guess ego though, not so much on the EQEmu side because they know they have a better system going. Although I'd have to check "the other" emulator out to confirm EQEmu's superiority.

I think EQEmu has the right idea with a lot, and actual gameplay is a TON better on EQEmu... But there is a lot more research done with EthernalQuest, if the raw data of EthernalQuest could be combined with the stability of EQEmu, I think we'd have damn near a perfected project... Just my opinion though.

- Edit -

I forgot to include that I used to exclusively use EthernalQuest, in fact, a user from their forums was the one who linked me here... I have no doubt that EQemu is doing better, but if you have a moment go to http://www.eqcollector.com/ and check out their data section(found under EQ Database: Explore EqDb, the rest of their site appears to have gone under >_&lt... Imagine all of that being combined with all of this.

Wow, that's a lot of data we could use!

You know, that would be a good idea, but you know it'll never happen.
