Default will eqemu ever be perfect?

eqemu already kicks arss

but i was wondering if eqemu will ever be perfect? just like EQ live?

- PoP aa
- mobs in all zone
- most of the zone up
- boss that hit for the right amount of dmg? not velk doing 110
- natural durability bug and PE fixed?
- pet doing correct amount of dmg?

and is the eqemu we are using the final version?

thanks for clearing this up for me

Okay, we get these questions a lot, so I think people stop answering them.

PoP aa - eventually, sure. Unless all the developers quit, I would say one of them will figure it all out. It will take time, lots of time.

mobs in all zone - This one is up to us little folk! Drawde and Lurker005 have been the heavy hitters, and Telmet is pulling his own weight for sure! This will be solved in the near future. I would estimate it at less than one year. It won't be "perfect like EQlive", but it will be suitable.

most of the zone up - If you meant most of the zoneS up, like all of them, not most of one zone up, yeah. Get a powerful computer, very powerful, and/or lots of computers, with lots of bandwidth. All zones will be up. All zones will be up for you if you have less than 5 users. If you do more than that, you probably can't view the whole world very well. Some servers have a lot of zones up, but due to processor and bandwidth limitations, nobody has all zones up.

boss that hit for the right amount of dmg? not velk doing 110 - Okay, this was toned down because we must limit the amount of users. If you would like bosses to hit harder, you can adjust the database to do so. This is a problem with preferences, not with content or design. You can run a server of your own, in which you can edit the power of every NPC. Most people use the standards.

natural durability bug and PE fixed? - Okay, I don't understand :juggle:

pet doing correct amount of dmg? - pets are under construction. Someone has to figure out the formula. That someone may be you! If you know that it's wrong, you can test formulas and help us get it right.

and is the eqemu we are using the final version? - No way, hombre. What gave you that idea? It's just getting good.

it also happened with my monk and ranger on 3 different server

ranger lvl 60= 4300hp
ranger lvl 60 with Nd3 PE 4900 but hp bar wont go further then 4300hp =(

thanks again

oh the problem is probably when you zone, sometimes your buffs dissappear BUT the effect icon does not get removed and your hp does not go higher.

just recast the buff and it should go up again. it also happens sometimes when the buff wears out, but the image of the effect still does not get removed.

I think it is perfect. It is EQ that evolves faster and better then Live. It is the vision that Sony once spoke so highly of.

Eh? Are you asking what expansions work? If so, everything released before Ykesha works.

EQEmu Patcher will never be perfect - they too lazy to work on it now. That's the problem and they need to get rid of those pathetic loser servers with stupid names like "LEGIT SERVERS SUCK" I mean, what the hell, who calls a server that.. Oviously a retarded young little boy who doesn't have any "Legit" skills or stratergies in this game. Anyway I guess the makers of EQEmu are not getting enough support, so it's up to us to help support them. Lol "not reffering to my "Spreading the Word" topic either.
Just need to make them know that we are trying our best to support them in anyway we can while they do there bit.

Yep, it will end, end for you. Just check here. Go down to about the 10th post, I believe what Vald said there, is against forum rules, is it not?

Now back to the topic at hand, will EQEmu be "perfect?" No.
