Since I started on EQLive 3 years ago, I've been intrigued by the whole game. And I don't think I've been the only one who've been thinking about how nice it would be to be able to play EQ offline, to explore zones, to work on techniques, and generally just goofing off without creating a mess for other people.

EQEmu have provided me with this, and so far, my opinion about the eqemu is only a positive one. Sure, it's rough around the edges, much of EQLives features isn't implemented yet like disciplines etc. And there's a lot of bugs to work out. But no matter what, it's worked on, and it evolves on every release. I'm really pleased with such an enormous project as emulating the Everquest servercode from the ground up so far.

A big thank you goes out to the developers and all the others who's participating in the project, such as a_guest. Your equations are spot on.

If there's anything I can do, like giving general help or cynisism, please let me know. =)
