Default problems....and more

Ok, i followed what the readme said to do, and got onto the server list, but i cannot connect to any servers. Now i have patched eq live all the way.....i didnt see that it said not to could this have something to do with it???? Also, how do i get it to not play in a window i want to play full screen. Please help me out. I am sad =(

To get it to play in full screen (if you're not using EQ windows that is...) just press alt-enter. Not sure about the rest.

I think this would belong more in a support section anyways :P

Dumpster, if you are getting windowed action, are you using eqw?

To set up a shortcut to play in fullscreen, right click on the eqgame.exe in your everquest folder. Click "send to desktop (create shortcut)". Find the shortcut on the desktop, and edit the following, and use YOUR everquest folder, not my example:

C:\everquestfolder\eqgame.exe

"C:\everquestfolder\eqgame.exe" patchme

Use patchme outside of the quotes. That should make it fullscreen.

About it giving 1017 errors, you said you patched to eqlive? Did you patch to eqemu patcher after that? If not, go to the main site and download the patcher. Install it into your everquest folder (it's very important that you install it directly into your eq folder that has eqgame.exe in it) and run it.
