For those who don't understand why someone would pay $50 bucks for an exclusive server, think for a few seconds. Cable costs you $50 a month. You can go through that much in a couple hours of drinking. A month of drugs, any drug, will cost you that much. Sony provides entertainment and they charge for it. Whether you pay $10 or $50, are you getting your money's worth? If so, great. If not, then don't blame Sony because your a crappy consumer.

Personally I couldn't live without the Cartoon Network, so I gave up EQ years ago. Seriously, like anything can compre with the Powerpuff Girls.

Yep, yep, that's the truth. Enjoyed the game for a good while myself, yet got tired of the repetiveness and time investment required to get anywhere in the game.

Hehe, I think people forget too often it's a product they SELL! They are in it for the money...and they apparantly have been doing a great job out of it. I don't think I can point this out often enough.

If you go to Walmart and see an item you like but find is too expensive for you, do you go to the cashier and whine about the price or do you just leave it there?

Simple enough, you don't like it, don't buy it!

But its a self-centric world... People as a whole believe everything should be done exactly for their benefit, and if its not , IT SUCKS!

Those Japanese companies are excellent at what they do. Be glad they didn't screw it up, make us all have wet dreams about the game, get us hooked (yes, we get hooked voluntarily), and then go bankrupt after a year of play-time! THAT would suck, for us and for them.

I read that Sony was going to make all games published by itself accessible by a lump fee of 21.99 no matter which games you play.

wasn't planning on buying eq2 anyways, it may be a good game at start, then comes the billion hours required to do anything worthwhile bullshit.

how do you guys find free servers? iuno where 2 search, i found eqemu on allakhazam's when a guy said he would get potime pics courtesy of eqemu...

LOL, potime pics? Someone has to give us POTime data for us to put it into the potime database set.

All eqemu servers are free. You download eqemu by going to the main www.eqemu.net and downloading them from the Files link. You can also click the link I posted here. It takes you to a website with a lot of files. You probably want just the patcher installed. It is available from the link in my signature. Tell you what, though: just read the readme in my sig, then press the BIG RED BUTTON for retards. It has a baby-step walkthrough of what to do to play on the free server. It's humiliating having to click the retard button, but at least you get a free server.

It tells you in the walkthrough to get eqw at the website that hosts it. Well, it's gone. Click the link in my sig if you want it.
