Default items database from scratch
How does one create an items database from scratch?

I've browsed the forums, and haven't found anything that would lead me to this, or at least nothing that I've understood

That is VERY ambitious, especially since there is still portions of the item format that are still unknown. But the easiest way would be to start with an empty items table, and use kaiyodo's item editor. keep your item numbers between 1001 and 32000

I highly sugest you use existing items with atributes similar to what you want as template items though.

Does nobody search the page before asking for help? Click on files from main page, then download most recent EQadmin. It was the first file listed under files. Look first! Ask second!

Use Kaiyodo's item editor if all you want to do is edit items.
