I believe the patcher program itself MUST be in the same folder as the eqgame.exe you're going to run in order for it to work right, it can't be in a sub-folder or a different folder or anything like that. So If it is in a different folder, try uninstalling it and then re-installing to the right folder. If it is in the right folder like it should be I don't know what to tell you. But if it is not in the right folder then it will not find the files, hence the "files missing" messages.

He's right - reinstall patcher, and browse to everquest directory. Run patcher again. Your problems are solved!

Then do it again => it won't give that message unless it's in the wrong folder. Browse to where you have eqgame when you install it, and put it there. So doubleclick the installer. It says "Do you want to uninstall?" Yeah, uninstall. Run installer again, and when it asks for directory, I chose C:\Copy of Everquest\. Choose the one that matches your eq directory.

:o Kind lady, forgive my ignorance! Online, I use the genderless he to describe everyone, because I studied german and they use man to mean one - jederman = everyone. I find he/she to be bulky.
Blame my english teacher. He said to pick one, and always use the same one when referring to a genderless or unknown-gendered being. Now that I know your gender, I will try to refer to you as a feminine.
I'd hate to refer to someone's alias online as an it, because no represented person is completely genderless, but all aliases are.

I got tired of buffing my postcount with the same post. I went from 100 or so to nearly 600 in 3 months.

Nothing to forgive, but when I'm unsure of a gender I try to determine it by how masculine or femanine the name sounds and if all else fails I'll use they/them/their/they're or their name outright, etc. But you're right, the English language can be bulky and a pain in the arse... so many rules, so many exceptions to rules, so many unique distinctions... *sighs*

P.S. Yes, I realize my alias name can be difficult to figure out my gender from

There are no women on the internet.. Thats a myth propagated by the porno companies to keep the geeks, posers and lamers coming back in the shallow hopes that they may one day get laid.
